Employee orientation is a strategic process that ensures a smooth onboarding experience for new employees. It serves as an initial step in integrating new hires into the organization by providing them with easy access to essential information, programs, and services. This process clarifies roles and responsibilities, enabling employees to actively contribute to the organization from the beginning.


Effectively onboarding new employees into their roles and the organization is vital for establishing productive and collaborative working relationships. The initial interactions with your team and department play a crucial role in creating a positive impression and fostering engagement. Workflow for Employee Orientation
Creation of Employee Orientation by HR Officer/Manager:
The HR Officer/Manager initiates the employee orientation process by creating an orientation record under Orientations > Employee Orientations. Upon selecting the orientation checklist field in the orientation form, the system automatically populates all relevant checklist lines for the orientation.

Confirmation of Employee Orientation:
Once the HR Officer/Manager confirms the employee orientation, the system generates checklist requests and assigns tasks to the responsible person(s) associated with the respective checklist or task under Orientations > Orientation Checklists Requests.

Task Completion by Responsible Person:
The responsible person logs in to the system and finds their allocated tasks under Orientations > Orientation Checklists Requests. They can then complete and mark the tasks as finished.

Department-Specific Orientation Checklist Configuration:
The orientation checklist configuration is department-specific. For example, if a new employee joins the IT department, they will follow the orientation checklist configured specifically for the IT department.
