AA - HR Work From Home Approval
This module allows the employees to get their Work From Home requests approved by their project manager, HR, or the admin. This module monitors the employees work from home working hours.
How Does It Work?
This is a separate module for the approval of work from the home of employees. The employees can verbally or email their project managers to approve their work from home. It is up to the project managers to approve or not approve the work from home request. This will restrict the employees to check-in & check out manually without the permission of their project manager.
Main Features
Employee cannot able to check in and out without permission of project managers
Employee cannot approve/ not approve their own work from home
Project managers cannot approve/not approve their own work from home
Admin has an access to approve/ not approve all of their employees work from home
Log notes are created on every approve and not approved for the history purpose
Rights are defined for project managers
Also there is a setting for employees to allow maximum work from home
If project managers approve more days defined in settings then the record will not save
Only select future or present date

Also, project managers can not approve or not approve their own work from home request. As the project manager works from home, requests can only be approved or not approved by the admin of the module.

Rights

Project Manager cannot edit their own information.
Also
there is a setting for admin to allow maximum work from
home
The admin can also allow maximum work from home in the setting of the module. As this can only be done by the admin of the module.
If project managers
approve more days defined in settings
then the record will not save
If the project manager by mistake writes more days than defined in the setting of work home. This request will not be saved. As only the days for work from home are already defined in the setting. Not more than the days mentioned in the setting is acceptable.
Only
select Future or present date
Also, there is a feature if the project manager writes the past date instead of the future or current date for work home it also will not be accepted.
The project manager will go to
the employee app
The project manager must have access to the module. As without the access, he or she can not open the module.
Select the employee profile/s
Goto profile of Employees who have requested work from home
Then go to the private information of
the employee and press the
edit button
In the private information tab there is a section "Work from home approval". Select the date from and date to and select approved not approved from the dropdown menu in the section "Work from home approval"
And finally, press the save button
The project manager can easily save the work from home date & time of the employee. This will lead to a specific time and date that will be allowed by the project manager to work from home for the employees.
Log notes will be created upon
approval/ non approval
The log notes will be created upon the approval/ noN approval of the work from request
