Cheque Management Module / PDC & CUC
Module Overview
The Cheque Management module handles:
- CUC (Cheques Under Collection): Incoming cheques from customers
- PDC (Post Dated Cheques): Outgoing cheques to vendors

CUC - Cheques Under Collection (Customer Cheques)

Step 1: Define New Cheque
Status: New
Journal Entry Created:
- Debit: Cheques Under Collection (linked to the Bank Journal GL account)
- Credit: Accounts Receivable (for the customer selected)
Step 2: Clear or Bounce
Clear:
- Debit: Bank
- Credit: Cheques Under Collection
Bounce:
- Debit: Accounts Receivable
- Credit: Cheques Under Collection
PDC - Post Dated Cheques (Vendor Cheques)

Step 1: Define New Cheque
Status: New
Journal Entry Created:
- Debit: Accounts Payable (for the vendor selected)
- Credit: Post Dated Cheques (GL Account)
Step 2: Clear or Bounce
Clear:
- Debit: Post Dated Cheques
- Credit: Bank
Bounce:
- Debit: Post Dated Cheques
- Credit: Accounts Payable
Reporting Features

You can export reports containing:
- Cheque Number
- Accounting Date
- Due Date
- Cheque Type (CUC or PDC)
- Cheque Status (New, Bounced, Cleared)
- Bank Journal
- Customer or Vendor
- Amount
- Description
Filtering and grouping options are also available in the reporting view.
