Discuss Forward
Forward messages to channels and colleagues - just like email
Why This Module?
Odoo Discuss has no built-in message forwarding. When you need to share a message with another channel or person, your only option is copy-paste - losing attachments, formatting, and context.
This module adds a proper Forward action to every message, letting you share it to any channel or direct conversation with one click.
Use cases:
• Share a customer question from one channel to the right team
• Forward important announcements to multiple channels
• Send a message to a colleague with full context preserved
Features
Multi-Target Forward
Select multiple channels and people as recipients in one dialog. Forward once, deliver everywhere.
Attachments Included
All file attachments are forwarded with the message. No need to re-upload or share links separately.
Add Your Comment
Include an optional custom message when forwarding to give recipients context about why you are sharing it.
Original Attribution
Forwarded messages show the original author and timestamp, so recipients always know the source.
Native Integration
Uses the standard Discuss message action menu. No new screens to learn - it just works.
Search & Select
Real-time search across channels and people. Quickly find the right recipient even in large organizations.
