Project Documents Sync
Automatic folder hierarchy for project and task documents
The Problem
Odoo's Documents app stores project files in a flat structure. As projects grow, finding the right document means wading through an unsorted pile of files with no folder organization.
The Solution
This module automatically creates a folder hierarchy: a root "Projects" folder, sub-folders per project, and task-level folders when needed. Documents are moved to the correct folder automatically.
Features
Auto Folder Creation
Project folder created when the project is created. Task sub-folders created when a task gets its first document.
Smart Document Routing
Documents linked to projects or tasks are automatically placed in the correct folder. No manual sorting needed.
Access Sync
For follower-only (private) projects, document access is synced with project and task followers. The right people see the right files.
