Go to Settings → Users & Companies → Users, open the user form and under Supply Chain section enable Manufacturing Order Reset permission to allow resetting cancelled orders to Draft.

Open any cancelled Manufacturing Order and click the Set to Draft button — the order instantly resets to Draft state with all data, raw material moves and work orders fully preserved, and every action is logged automatically in the chatter for complete audit trail.

Once reset, the Manufacturing Order returns to Draft state with all original data intact — product, Bill of Material, quantity, scheduled date and components are fully restored, allowing you to confirm and resume production immediately without any manual re-entry.

Control who can reset cancelled Manufacturing Orders — regular users are restricted by default and only users with explicit Manufacturing Order Reset permission can perform the reset action, ensuring full security and accountability across your team.

When a user does not have Manufacturing Order Reset permission, the Set to Draft button is completely hidden on cancelled orders — ensuring only authorized personnel can recover cancelled Manufacturing Orders and preventing unauthorized changes to production records.
