Go to Dashboard to view all sessions live in kanban — Submitted, Draft, and In Progress columns show session number, assigned user, approver, products count, scanned, remaining, and time consumed in real time.

Go to Settings → Users & Companies → Users, select the user, and under Supply Chain set Inventory to Administrator or User to grant access to Inventory Count module.

Go to Inventory Count → Documents → Inventory Count to create a new count, assign sessions to users, and track live session status — Submitted, Draft, and In Progress — all in one dashboard view.

Go to Inventory Count → Documents → Inventory Count, open a count, click Create Session, select users to assign, and click Create — sessions will be auto-generated for each assigned user instantly.

Open a session, click Start, view all assigned products with location and barcode — then click Scan & Count to scan each product with camera or barcode gun and enter counted quantity per location.

Access Inventory Count directly from Odoo home menu — view all sessions in kanban with Draft, In Progress, and Submitted columns showing assigned user, products count, scanned, remaining, and time consumed.

Click Scan & Count on session, scan product barcode with camera or gun scanner, product is auto-detected with location, enter counted quantity and click Save & Next to move to the next product instantly.

Once session is submitted, manager can approve or reject each counting line individually, or use Approve Session Lines to approve all at once — then click Validate to update stock quantities in Odoo.

After approving all session lines, click on Inventory Count reference to open the count, then click Validate to apply counted quantities and auto-update stock in Odoo instantly.

After validation, Inventory Count moves to Validated state — view Inventory Count Lines with Theoretical Quantity, Counted Quantity, and Discrepancy per location — stock quantities are automatically updated in Odoo.

After inventory count validation, product stock quantity is automatically updated in Odoo — Flipover Quantity On Hand changed to 40.00 reflecting the actual physical count from the warehouse.

Go to Reporting menu to access 3 built-in reports — Inventory Count Report shows Theoretical vs Counted Quantity with Discrepancy, Adjustment Report shows Overstock and Out-of-Stock, and User Statistic Report tracks mistakes per user.
