Purchase Order List with Backorder Status
Easily identify Purchase Orders with pending backorders directly from the list view using the Has Backorder status.
Purchase Order Before Backorder Creation View
At this stage, no backorder has been created, so the Backorder Status field is not displayed in the Purchase Order form. The field appears automatically only after a backorder is generated.
Search Purchase Orders with Backorders View
Use the dedicated Has Backorder filter to quickly find Purchase Orders that contain pending backorders.
Filtered Backorder Purchase Orders View
Instantly display only Purchase Orders with backorders for faster tracking and efficient purchase management.
Validate the Partial Receipt View
After entering the received quantity, click the Validate button. If the ordered quantity is only partially received, Odoo automatically opens the Backorder Confirmation wizard to process the remaining quantity.
Backorder Confirmation Wizard View
After clicking Validate, Odoo automatically opens the Backorder Confirmation wizard when the received quantity is less than the ordered quantity. Click Create Backorder to generate a backorder for the remaining products, or select No Backorder if no additional receipt is required.
Separate Receipts for Completed and Pending Quantities View
After clicking Create Backorder, Odoo automatically creates separate receipts. The completed receipt is marked as Done, while a new receipt is created with the Ready status for the remaining products to be received later.
Automatic Backorder Status Update View
Once the backorder is created, the Backorder field is automatically updated in the Purchase Order list. A checkmark indicates that the Purchase Order has an active backorder, allowing users to identify pending backorders instantly without opening the record.
Backorder Status in Purchase Order Form View
When a backorder is created, the Backorder Status field is automatically displayed and updated in the Purchase Order form. This allows users to quickly verify whether the Purchase Order has an active backorder without opening related receipts.
For printing images in the report first we have enable 'Show Product image in the report' option in the configuration settings.
