Go to Inventory → Products → New and create a new product. Enter the product name, set the product type, and configure the sales price. Once the product is saved, it will be available for selection on the Sale Order line where the Bill of Material field will appear automatically.

Open the product Plastic Laminate [FURN_8621], navigate to the Inventory tab and under the Operations section, enable the Manufacture route. This ensures that when a Sale Order is confirmed with a Manufacture type Bill of Material selected, a Manufacturing Order is automatically triggered for that product.

Go to Manufacturing → Bills of Materials → New and create multiple BoMs for the same product. For example, Plastic Laminate [FURN_8621] has two Manufacture type BoMs — SN_0001 and SN_0002, and Table Kit [TABLE-KIT] has multiple Kit type BoMs — TB_0001, TB_0002 and TC_BOM002. Each BoM can have different components representing different production variants. All these BoMs will be available for selection directly on the Sale Order line.

Go to Sales → Orders → New, add the product Plastic Laminate [FURN_8621] and select the desired Bill of Material — SN_0001 — directly on the Sale Order line. On confirming the order, Odoo automatically creates a Delivery Order and a Manufacturing Order using the exact selected BoM — visible via the smart buttons at the top.

Once the Sale Order is confirmed and the product is delivered, navigate to the Sale Order and click Create Invoice. Confirm the invoice and register the payment. The invoice INV/2026/00004 for Plastic Laminate [FURN_8621] of ₹1,000.00 is marked as Paid — completing the full order to payment cycle with the correct Bill of Material.
