What this module solves

Many intercompany flows need a product in one company to create a different product in another company, sometimes with a different unit of measure and sometimes with a quantity that changes per transaction. This module gives teams a professional workflow to manage that conversion clearly and safely.

Map a source company product to a different target company product.

Use target UoM conversion for sales and purchases across companies.

Security note

The module includes a dedicated security group named Intercompany Mapping Quick Access. Users in this group can open an existing mapping or create a new mapping directly from sales order lines and purchase order lines. This keeps quick actions available only to the right users.

2) Readiness wizard before confirmation

The Check Intercompany Readiness action opens a concise summary showing ready lines, missing mappings, pending actual quantities, and fallback count. This gives users an enterprise-style pre-check before they proceed.

The dedicated traceability tab summarizes the intercompany state of the document with counters for ready lines, pending actual quantity lines, missing mappings, and shared fallback lines.

Once the actual target quantity is captured, the order shows a ready status and the chatter keeps a useful summary of the intercompany mapping activity and captured quantity.

The purchase order side also shows the intercompany columns so users can understand target quantity behavior and mapping state from either side of the flow.

For variable-weight or real-world quantity scenarios, the wizard lets users enter the real target quantity that should be sent to the other company. This keeps the workflow practical for operations teams and avoids manual corrections later.

When no mapping exists, users with the Intercompany Mapping Quick Access group can create a mapping directly from the document line instead of leaving the flow and searching manually.

The mapping form supports switching between fixed factor and actual quantity entry, while chatter and usage information make every change and every use traceable.

This module is designed for Odoo 18 intercompany sales and purchase workflows.

For the best result, assign the Intercompany Mapping Quick Access group to users who should be allowed to open or create mappings directly from order lines. Analytics are available in list, graph, and pivot views.
