Odoo will not warn you on its own when something important happens. Smart Alerts watches your business 24/7 and tells you the moment a KPI crosses a limit or moves too much against the previous period — by email, as an Odoo to-do, and in a daily digest.
Pick any model (Invoices, Sales, Contacts, Stock, or your own custom models), choose what to measure (count, sum, average, max, min of any numeric field), set the limit, and choose who gets notified. The watchdog does the rest — no developer, no code.

More than a simple threshold
Most alert tools only compare a number against a fixed value. Smart Alerts also compares the current period against the previous one (or the same period last year) and reacts to the change — for example “sales dropped more than 20% versus last month” or “overdue receivables grew over 15% this month”. It compares the same elapsed time on both sides, so the figures are fair.
