Do I need to install this module myself?
No. It installs automatically whenever both App Folders and Odoo Enterprise are present.
What happens on Odoo Community?
This module is not used. App Folders provides its own dedicated full-screen home screen instead.
Do the folders follow a user to another computer?
Yes. The layout is stored on the Odoo user settings record on the server — not in the browser — so it
follows the user across devices, browsers and cache clears.
What if a preset contains an app the user can't access?
It is skipped silently. Access rights always win — a rolled-out layout can never expose an app a user
is not allowed to see.
Will it change my menus or permissions?
No. It only patches the home menu visually — your menus, actions and access rights are untouched.
