Contacts Approval
A powerful module to enforce contact approval before use in all business operations
Key Functionalities:
- Restrict Unapproved Partners: Unapproved contacts cannot be selected in any business documents, including Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Inventory Transfers, Invoices, etc.
- Invisible in Search: Unapproved contacts are excluded from search fields of all business forms, ensuring they are not used by mistake.
- Dedicated Approval Permission: Only users with specific access rights can approve or reject partner records, ensuring strict control over the approval process.
- Configurable Reset Fields: You can define specific fields (e.g., name, phone, tax ID, bank account, etc.) that, if modified, will automatically reset the partner's approval status back to draft.
- Approval Activity Notification: Upon submission for approval, the system creates an activity and assigns it to the designated approver to ensure timely action.
- Clear Approval Status Views: Visual indicators and grouped kanban and list views help track which contacts are pending, approved, or rejected.
- Batch Processing Wizards: Submit, approve, or reject multiple contacts in bulk using streamlined wizard dialogs, saving time and effort.
Upon installation, all existing partners are automatically marked as approved to avoid disruption. New contacts will enter the draft state and require approval before being used.
