Negative Stock Guard
Block (or just warn about) any operation that would drive your stock negative — with per-warehouse & per-category rules.

Why you need it

See it working — the problem & the fix
1. The problem — stock goes negative
Out of the box, Odoo lets on-hand quantity drop below zero. Here a product sits at −5.00 — silently corrupting your inventory.
2. The fix — add one rule
Go to Inventory → Negative Stock Guard, choose Block, and optionally scope it to warehouses/categories.
3. The result — Odoo blocks it
Now any move that would push the product negative is rejected on the spot with a clear message — your stock stays accurate.
Installation
- Buy & download the module from this page.
- Copy it into your Odoo add-ons path.
- Update the Apps list and install Negative Stock Guard.
How to use
- Open Inventory → Negative Stock Guard.
- Click New and choose Block or Warn only.
- Optionally set Warehouses and/or Product Categories.
- Save — the guard is enforced immediately.

Negative Stock Guard
Prevent (or just warn about) operations that would drive on-hand quantity negative, with granular rules per warehouse and per product category.
Features
- Block mode: stops any move that would make stock negative
- Warn mode: allows it but logs a warning
- Scope a rule to specific warehouses and/or product categories
- Sub-categories are matched automatically
Usage
- Go to Inventory -> Negative Stock Guard.
- Create a rule, choose Block or Warn only.
- Optionally limit it to warehouses and/or product categories.
- Save. The guard is enforced immediately on stock moves.
