Colombia DIAN POS DEE
DIAN documento equivalente electrónico (DEE) for Point of Sale — CUDE, UBL 2.1, numbering resolutions & QR on every POS ticket
Generate the DIAN documento equivalente electrónico for every paid point-of-sale order in Colombia and transmit it to the DIAN. Built on the shared e-Invoicing Core Engine and the Colombia DIAN Invoice connector, it implements the DIAN Anexo Técnico del Documento Equivalente Electrónico for the POS ticket: operation code 48, document type 20, a real CUDE SHA-384 fingerprint and the verification QR.
CUDE & UBL 2.1 generation
Each POS order produces a DIAN UBL 2.1 equivalent document with the full DianExtensions block (InvoiceControl numbering authorization, InvoiceSource, SoftwareProvider, SoftwareSecurityCode, AuthorizationProvider). The CUDE is the official SHA-384 digest computed locally from your software PIN.
POS numbering resolutions
Configure each point of sale with its DIAN resolución de numeración: authorization number, ClaveTécnica, prefix, inclusive range and validity period. Consecutives are assigned automatically with range-exhaustion and validity-period guards.
DIAN QR for the ticket
A catálogo VPFE verification-URL QR is generated for the printed POS ticket and rendered to a PNG, plus a compact offline text block for POS printers (NumDEE, FecDEE, ValDEE, ValIva, CUDE).
BYOK transport
Sandbox (habilitación) and production endpoints are pre-filled with the public DIAN hosts and fully editable for routing through a proveedor tecnológico. The API token, software-id and certificate are bring-your-own-key — never bundled. Requests retry with backoff and every call is logged.
Built on the Colombia DIAN Invoice connector
The NIT mod-11 check digit, the CUDE SHA-384 engine, the DIAN QR builder and the DIAN gateway transport are shared with the electronic-invoice module, so the POS equivalent document and the factura electrónica never drift. Generate, validate and submit straight from the POS order, with status mirrored on the order and an optional auto-submit cron.
Compatibility
Compatible with Odoo 18 and 19. Requires the e-Invoicing Core Engine and the Colombia DIAN Invoice connector.
Disclosure: document data is transmitted only to the DIAN gateway (or the proveedor tecnológico) endpoint you configure. Your certificate, software-id, PIN and technical key are bring-your-own-key, stored only in your database and used to build the CUDE and signatures locally.
