Japan Qualified Invoice
適格請求書 (Tekikaku Seikyūsho) compliance for Odoo — registration number, per-rate tax breakdown & compliant invoice fields
Make your Odoo customer invoices and credit notes compliant with Japan's Qualified Invoice System, the National Tax Agency regime in force since 1 October 2023 under which only a registered issuer may let the buyer claim an input consumption-tax credit. Validates the issuer registration number and builds the legally mandated tax-rate breakdown automatically.
Registration-number validation
A real T + 13-digit (登録番号) checker on company and partner, including the National Tax Agency Corporate-Number check-digit algorithm and full-width digit folding for pasted Japanese input.
Per-rate tax breakdown
The mandatory 税率ごとに区分した消費税額等: consideration and consumption tax aggregated per rate (10% standard, 8% reduced, 0%/exempt) with the tax rounded once per rate and a configurable rounding method.
Compliant invoice fields
Issuer name + registration number, transaction date, item descriptions with the reduced-rate mark (※), per-rate totals and applicable rates, and recipient name — every legally required qualified-invoice item.
Verification QR & NTA lookup
An offline JSON QR carries the per-rate figures, and a one-click link to the NTA Invoice-issuer Publication Site lets a buyer confirm the issuer is registered before claiming an input credit.
Reduced-rate marking
A product flag for 軽減税率 goods (food & beverages, newspapers) drives the 8% rate and the printed ※ mark automatically across the document.
Optional JP PINT delivery (BYOK)
Deliver qualified invoices over Peppol through your own accredited Access Point. The API token is stored only on your database and transmitted solely to the endpoint you configure — bring your own key.
Built on the e-Invoice Core Engine
Reuses the shared canonical JSON builder, declarative validation framework, QR renderer and BYOK REST transport. An onboarding wizard, optional batch-generation scheduled action and full transport logging are included. Compatible with Odoo 18 and Odoo 19.
