Mozambique SAF-T (MZ) Audit File
Full OECD SAF-T export for the Autoridade Tributária — Odoo 18 & 19
Produce the complete SAF-T (MZ) audit file the Autoridade Tributária de Moçambique (AT) is introducing (proposed 2026), alongside the monthly invoice reporting already live since May 2025. This module complements the Mozambique AT Report module: it adds the accounting dimension, movement of goods, working documents, supplier master files and a hash-chained, BYOK-signed document set — everything an auditor needs to reconstruct a full fiscal year.
General-Ledger Accounting
Emits GeneralLedgerAccounts (chart of accounts with
opening and closing debit / credit balances) and
GeneralLedgerEntries journals and transactions
built from posted account.move data, with the SAF-T
control totals and a double-entry balance check that blocks an
unbalanced file.
Movement of Goods & Working Documents
MovementOfGoods stock movements from done outgoing
pickings (delivery / transfer notes) and optional
WorkingDocuments (proforma, order, conference)
rounding out the OECD source-document set.
Hash-chaining & BYOK Signature
A deterministic SHA-256 document hash chain (SAF-T-PT / MZ lineage) makes the file tamper-evident; when you configure your own AT-registered PEM RSA key, each document is additionally signed (RSA-SHA256). Bring Your Own Key — nothing is transmitted and no key is held by us.
Structural Validation
An independent audit-file validator checks header completeness, general-ledger balance and account-ID coherence before the XML is produced, surfacing every finding on the export record.
How it works
- Enable SAF-T on the company and set the tax basis, certificate number and editable AT endpoints.
- Run the annual wizard for a fiscal year (or let the optional yearly cron build the prior year automatically).
- The module assembles the audit file, validates and hash-chains it, and attaches the XML for download.
- Deliver the file to the AT on the official e-Declaração portal with your own credentials.
Builds on the Mozambique AT Report module
(l10n_mz_at_invoice_reporting), which owns the NUIT
handling and the monthly invoice extract / SalesInvoices block.
Compatible with Odoo 18 and Odoo 19.
Disclosure: this module generates the SAF-T (MZ) audit file inside your own Odoo database for you to deliver to the AT yourself. It transmits nothing on its own; your NUIT, accounting data and signing key never leave your database.
