How It Works
1. Create Purchase Order
Create your purchase order with the vendor's prices as usual.
2. Validate Receipt
When you validate the incoming shipment, the module triggers automatically.
3. Costs Updated
Product costs are updated with proper currency and UoM conversions.

Easy Configuration
Enable with a single checkbox in Product Categories:
- Step 1: Go to Inventory - Configuration - Product Categories
- Step 2: Enable "Use last purchase price as cost"
- Step 3: Choose your landed cost policy (optional)
Works with products using the Standard Price costing method.
Visible on Products
The last purchase price is displayed on the product form for instant visibility.
Both Standard Price and Last Purchase Price are updated automatically when you validate receipts.

FAQ
Does this work with FIFO or Average costing?
No. This module is for products using Standard Price costing method only.
What happens when I validate a receipt?
The product's Standard Price is updated with the purchase price, converted to your company currency and UoM.
Can I disable this for specific products?
The feature is controlled at the category level. Create a separate category without the option enabled.
What about discounts on purchase orders?
The module uses the unit price after discounts are applied.
