Seamless Asset Replacement Workflow

ll_asset_replacement is an extension module fully integrated with ll_asset_management, designed to streamline and automate the asset replacement process.

Workflow Overview

  1. User creates a replacement request in the system.
  2. The module automatically generates:
    • An Issuance record for the new (replacement) asset.
    • A Return record for the old asset to be replaced.
  3. When both transactions are validated:
    • Status is automatically marked as Closed.
    • Linked assets are updated with replacement history.
