POS Stock Location Product Loader

This module customizes the Odoo Point of Sale (POS) to enable filtering of products displayed in the POS interface based on their availability in specific warehouse locations. When activated, the module ensures that only products available in the configured location hierarchy of the POS session are loaded and displayed, enhancing inventory accuracy and preventing the sale of unavailable products.

Aim

The module aims to streamline the product selection process in POS by displaying only the products that are physically available in the warehouse locations associated with the POS configuration. This reduces confusion for sales staff, minimizes operational errors, and enhances customer satisfaction by ensuring product availability at the point of sale.

Features
  • Improved Operational Accuracy: By limiting displayed products to those in stock at specific warehouse locations, the module prevents sales of unavailable items, improving stock reliability and reducing customer disappointment.
  • Warehouse-Specific Operations: Businesses with multiple warehouses or complex stock locations benefit from precise inventory control, ensuring that POS operations align with physical stock realities.
  • Warehouse-Specific Filtering: Filters products based on their availability in the default source location of the configured warehouse.
