Magento Connector
The Magento Connector is a powerful integration module that
seamlessly synchronizes data between Odoo and Magento 2.
It enables bidirectional synchronization of products, orders, customers, and inventory.
By default, Odoo does not support native Magento
synchronization.
This module bridges that gap, providing
automated sync of critical business data,
reducing manual effort and avoiding errors. It also supports multi-store setups and inventory updates.
Moreover, it handles advanced features like inventory transfers and fulfillment orders,
making it flexible and scalable for growing businesses.

Installation
Ensure Odoo 18.0 is installed and the following dependencies are met:
- Queue Job Module: Download from Odoo App Store and install it.

Python Dependencies: The module primarily uses the standard
requestslibrary. Ensure it is installed in your environment. -
Server Configuration: Add the following to your
odoo.conffile for queue job functionality:server_wide_modules = base,web,queue_job [queue_job] channels = root:1
Configuration / Setup Guide
Configure your Magento instance with your Admin Credentials. The system will automatically generate the Access Token.
- Instance Name: A friendly name for this connection.
- URL: The base URL of your Magento store (e.g., https://yourstore.com).
- Admin Username & Password: Credentials of a Magento admin user with sufficient permissions.
- Sync Options: Configure sync settings for Products, Customers, and Orders.
Setup Steps
1. Install Magento Connector Module
Upload the Magento Connector module in Odoo Apps and click Install.
2. Create Instance
Go to Magento > Instances and create a new record.
Enter your Magento URL, Admin Username, and Admin Password.
3. Connect
Click the Connect button. Odoo will verify your credentials and automatically generate an access token.
4. Sync Structure
Once connected, click Sync Websites & Stores to fetch your store configuration.
5. Dashboard
Access the Magento Dashboard in Odoo to view metrics, sales data, and track sync operations.
Usage
Import and export operations via Magento > Operations menu. Monitor sync progress via Queue Jobs.
