Create Project on the Google Cloud

  • Create a project on the Google Cloud using your gmail account account and set it up in Odoo.
  • Ensure the following APIs are enabled for your project as shown in the image:
    1. Google Calendar API
    2. Google Meet REST API

Setup the Google Cloud Project's credentials into Odoo

Kindly refer to Odoo's documentation to obtain and set up these credentials.

Synchronize with Google from Odoo Calendar

Sync with Google from Odoo's Calendar. If you're already using Google Calendar and have previously synced, click 'Stop synchronization' and then sync again.

Create an application on the Microsoft Azure Portal

  • Create an application on the Microsoft Azure Portal using your school or organization account and set it up in Odoo.
    Kindly refer to Odoo's documentation to obtain and set up these credentials.
  • Ensure the following Microsoft Graph Permissions are configured in your application as shown in the image:
    1. Calendars.ReadWrite
    2. OnlineMeetings.ReadWrite

Setup the Azure App credentials into Odoo

Kindly refer to Odoo's documentation to obtain and set up these credentials.

Synchronize with Outlook from Odoo Calendar

Sync with Outlook from Odoo's Calendar. If you're already using Outlook Calendar and have previously synced, click 'Stop synchronization' and then sync again.

Start a Quick Meeting from Chatter

Click the 'Start Quick Meeting' button to instantly create and share a meeting link

Odoo Meeting Links

Choose 'Odoo Meeting' as the meeting type to generate a link for an Odoo meeting (video call)

Google Meet Links

Select 'Google Meet' as the meeting type to automatically generate a Google Meet link

Microsoft Teams Links

Select 'Microsoft Teams' as the meeting type to automatically generate a Teams meeting link

Automatic Invitation Messages to Attendees

Meeting invitations are automatically sent to selected participants via messages in the Odoo chatter

Quick Meetings Tab

A new 'Quick Meetings' menu is added under Settings, allowing admins to view meeting logs
