Email Conversations on Documents
Import, reply and track email threads â directly inside Odoo
Stop bouncing between Outlook and Odoo. Bring full email conversations into any document â leads, quotations, sale orders, purchase orders, contacts â without setting up email aliases.
Search by subject, click +, the thread is imported. Reply from Odoo, the email threads correctly in your customer's Outlook. Attachments automatically appear in the document's Files section.
A new Conversations tab next to Notes
A toggle is added to every chatter (CRM, Sales, Purchase, Contact). Switch between standard Notes and your imported email Conversations. Senders are automatically matched with your contacts â avatar, clickable name, full history.
One-click configuration
From the Actions cog of any document, configure your import preferences (IMAP server, sales team, period). Apply per-document or globally for your user.
Smart compose with thread selection
The standard "Send by email" composer is enhanced with: outgoing server selection, CC contact picker, conversation target selection, and automatic threading headers so your reply appears in the right conversation in your customer's Outlook.

Requirements
- Odoo 18 (Community or Enterprise)
- IMAP-enabled mailbox (Outlook/Microsoft 365, Gmail, or generic IMAP)
- Self-hosted or Odoo.sh deployment (not available on Odoo Online)
- For Microsoft 365 shared mailboxes: IMAP enabled at the tenant level + Full Access permission
