When using the Odoo standard, employee absences are not considered during the production and capacity planning of the manufacturing module. Work orders are planned for dates at which the assigned employees are on holidays or sick leave. This results in practise in unfulfillable plans and thus delays and additional work to correct this manually.

This app extends the Odoo MRP by intelligent checks for employee absences and automatically adjusts the planned time slots for work orders based on the actual availability.

What the app provides is firstly that when planning a work order, it checks whether the assigned employees are present or absent. If all employees are on leave, the time slot is automatically scheduled for a later date. Secondly, it provides an instant, one-click intelligent employee assignment, selecting for each work order the employee that is most readily available.
