Install Advanced Mass Delete Pro from Odoo Apps
Go to the Apps menu in Odoo and search for Advanced Mass Delete Pro. Open the app and click Install to start managing bulk record deletions safely and efficiently.
Open Advanced Mass Delete Pro from Dashboard
After installation, the Advanced Mass Delete Pro app will appear on your Odoo dashboard. Simply click on the app icon to access the mass deletion workspace and start managing records efficiently.
Configure Models & Bulk Delete Records
Open the main menu and go to Configuration, where you can select the required model and define filters to target specific records. Based on the configured rules, matching records can be deleted in bulk. You can also create multiple configurations using the Create Configuration button to manage bulk deletion for different models separately.
Manage Deletion Mode & Track Deleted Records
When creating a new configuration for a model, you can define the Deletion Mode, which controls how records are filtered and selected for deletion. Each configuration also includes a smart button that shows how many records have been deleted using that rule, allowing you to easily track deletion activity for each configuration.
Delete Records with Filters & Backup Support
The configuration form provides multiple Deletion Modes. By selecting Delete with Filter, you can define a custom domain in the Domain Filter field to precisely control which records should be deleted. The form also includes an option to create a backup before deletion, ensuring the selected records are safely stored in the system and can be restored later if needed.
Delete Records by Date Range
In the configuration form, you can also choose Delete by Date Range as the Deletion Mode. Simply select the required date field, define the start and end dates, and apply any additional options. The system will automatically delete only the records that fall within the selected date range, ensuring precise and controlled cleanup.
Custom Domain Actions: Delete, Archive, or Recycle
You can manage records using a custom domain filter to precisely target the required data. Instead of permanently deleting records, the configuration also offers flexible actions such as Archive Records or Move to Recycle Bin. This allows you to safely retain data and restore records later if needed, providing full control over record cleanup and recovery.
Help Tab & Deletion Summary Information
Each configuration includes a Help tab to guide you through the setup if anything is unclear. The form also displays useful summary details such as the number of records eligible for deletion (with or without filters), the last execution date, and the count of records deleted in the last run. This gives you quick visibility into configuration activity and overall cleanup status.
Quick Delete Wizard for Instant Cleanup
The module also provides a Quick Delete menu for fast bulk operations without creating configuration records. Simply open the Quick Delete wizard, select the required model, apply filters if needed, and delete records in bulk with just a few clicks. This is ideal for quick, one-time cleanup tasks.
Recycle Bin with Restore Option
The module also includes a Recycle Bin menu where all deleted records are stored safely. From this screen, you can review deleted entries and use the Restore button to recover records whenever required. This ensures secure data management and prevents accidental permanent data loss.
Restore Records with Confirmation
When you click the Restore button in the Recycle Bin, the selected record is restored to its original model. A notification message confirms the successful restoration, ensuring you have clear feedback that the record has been recovered safely.
Deletion History for Reference
The module includes a History menu where you can review how many records have been deleted and track details of past deletion actions. This provides useful information for knowledge, auditing, or future reference.
