Material Extension & Plant-Level Transactional Security

This module enforces operational control within multi-plant industries by replacing global product visibility with a rigid permissions structure, ensuring materials can only be viewed and transacted upon by users with explicit plant and location-level access. It establishes a governance protocol that automatically blocks unauthorized warehouse movements before they can physically occur.

Setup & Screenshots
Configure Universal Access Control
Navigate to the "Plant & Store Extension" tab within the Product Master. Enabling the "Available Everywhere" toggle extends the product across all corporate plants and locations. Keeping it disabled requires manually adding lines to restrict material availability to specifically mapped plants and locations.
Create Dedicated Location Mappings
In the "Create Plant & Store Extensions" pop-up window, select the specific company, designated plant, and the exact store location where the product needs to be extended, then save the configuration to enable localized transactions.
Enforce Invalid Operation Hard Block
If the material has not been explicitly extended to the receiving warehouse or storage location, the system automatically triggers an "Invalid Operation" hard block, preventing validation of any Goods Receipt Note (GRN) until the mandatory location configuration is completed.
