Store Locator


The "Store Locator" module enables user to showcase all the users stores, branches, or outlets on an interactive Google Map directly on the Odoo Website. With powerful map features, the customers can easily locate the nearest store, view details, and book appointments.

Documentation

Navigate to Settings > Website > Store Locator and enter the google api key. The Appointments functionality(Book Now) will only work for enterprise by installing the Store Locator Appointment module



Clicking on the manage stores link will redirect the user to the Contacts module and filter out the contacts which are stores.



While creating a new store, tick the is store checkbox and add the appointment type and working schedule then fill in the address details then press the compute based on address button which calculates the latitude and longitude according to the filled address.



The appointment type is the appointment which will open on clicking the book now button in website map view (Appointment module is Only available in Enterprise).



The working schedule is the timings shown in the store details in website and can be configured in Employees > Configuration > Working Schedules.



On the website, there is a menu named 'stores' which redirects the user to the store page.



Clicking the down arrow button will show the timings of that store.



The timings will be shown according to the real time; if the real time is between the store timings, then it will show open else closed.



Clicking on the book now button will redirect the user to the appointment booking, in which the appointment type will be the type set in the store's appointment type (Appointment module is Only available in Enterprise).



Clicking on the marker will open the popup in which the details of the store are visible, and clicking on the link will redirect the user to Google Maps for directions.



Clicking on the store will redirect the map to that store address with a marker automatically.



User can also add snippet of the store locator anywhere in the website.
