Wholesaler Verification Workflow
Custom Wholesaler verification workflows requiring manual approval or KYC flow with portal automation beyond standard price list controls.
The Wholesale Account Registration page allows potential business customers to submit their details in order to request access to wholesale purchasing.
After submitting the form, The user will be redirected to the Thank You page.
In the backend, Lead is created for that user.
Create Wholesaler button will open a popup for creating/linking a contact.
After creating the wholesaler, That wholesaler will be visible in the wholesalers section or in contacts.
Grant Portal Access button give access of website to that particular user.
Wholesaler Dashboard
The My Account page is fully customised according to the wholesaler's fit with modern design, attractive UI and user-friendly features.
Quick Order
The Quick Order button redirects the customer to the wholesaler shop page.
Express Order
The Express Order page redirects the customer to a dedicated page where customer can add products to the cart by SKU/text/file-upload quickly similar to the quick buy functionality.
Requested Quotations
The Requested Quotations button redirects the customer to the page where all the customer's requested quotations are visible.
Order Templates
The Order Templates are used to create templates of products to reorder a batch of products without adding products individually, and the customer can also edit or delete that particular template.
Catalog
The Catalog button redirects to the Catalogue page where all the downloadable and flipbook catalogues are visible.
Customer Statement
The Customer Statement page redirects the customer to a dedicated page where customer can print all the statements according to time period (For Portal User).
Wholesaler Portal Configurations
Wholesaler Shop Page without any configurations.
Shop page can be configured from the Settings > Website > Shop Configuration section.
Enable Quick Buy
By enabling the quick buy configuration, a new button will be visible on the shop page named "Express Checkout". Clicking on the express checkout button will open a form for adding products to the cart by SKU/text/file upload quickly.
Enable Variant Grid
On enabling the variant grid, the products have to configured in which the Product Detail Page View option should be set to 'Variant Grid'.
The Variant Grid will be visible on the shop page.
The Variant Grid will also be visible on the product detail page.
Enable Portal Invoice Payment Proof Upload
Enabling the portal invoice payment proof upload option will give the option to users to upload the payment proof in the invoice on the website.
The uploaded payment proof will be visible in the invoice backend as well as the communication history.
Enable Portal Notification
The portal notification option will make the users to see if any notification is there in the website on my account page.
Enable Product Matrix
Enabling the product matrix option will make the product variants to come according to the matrix format in the product detail page.
For setting up product matrix, firstly we have to set the Product Detail Page View option to 'Matrix'.
Then have to create two attributes with the below shown configurations.
NOTE: The matrix will only work for the color and size attribute or only for color/size with the below given configurations.
Atlast add those attributes to the desired products.
Navigating to the configured product's detail page on the website, the matrix will be visible.
The Show Odoo Standard Attribute With Matrix suboption makes the variant options on the product detail page to be visible to configure the matrix according to the personal need.
Website Flow
The Website Flow option manages the behaviour of the ecommerce.When the 'B2C' option is selected, the normal base odoo shop flow will run.
When the 'B2B' option is selected, the custom shop flow will run in which customer can request for quotation with a dedicated quote cart instead of sale order.
The quotations that are requested can be accessed on the my account page.
When the 'Both' option is selected, the quotation request flow as well as the normal shop flow both will run.
Enable Packaging
Enabling the packaging option, the product will be able to be sold in packages.
First, the product packaging option should also be selected from the Settings > Wholesaler > Product Catalog section.
Then the Product Detail Page View option in the product should be set to 'Packaging'.
In the inventory section, tick the 'webshop packaging' option and then make the packaging record according to the requirement with the pack name and contained quantities.
After configuring the product, the product will now be added in packs in the product detail page as well as in the cart.
Enable Website Hide Price
The Enable Website Hide Price option hides the price of the products on the shop page for public/logged-out users.
Enable Private Product Catalogue
The Enable Private Product Catalogue option gives access to view particular product to only particular customers.When the option is enabled then in the product a new section will be visible "Private Catalogue", in that section the product will be visible to particalur those partners which are added in that section else if there is no partner added then will be visible to all the contacts.
As you see above, in that product Demo user is added to the private product catalogue so the product should be only visible to Demo not anyone as you can see below.
Enable Downloadable Product Catalogue
The Enable Downloadable Product Catalogue option creates downloadable catalogues to view on website.The Configure Downloadable Product Catalogue link redirects the user to the catalogue creation List view where all the downloadable catalogues are visible.
On the website, there is a menu for the catalogue; clicking that menu will open the catalogue page, and clicking on any will download that particular catalogue's brochure.
Enable Flipbook Product Catalogue
The Enable Flipbook Product Catalogue option creates flipbook catalogues to view on website.The Configure Flipbook Product Catalogue link redirects the user to the catalogue creation List view where all the flipbook product catalogues are visible.
Note: The flipbook is produced by Heyzine(third party website), our functionality will work according to the heyzine subscription the user purchases. This module does not include Heyzine subscriptions.
On the website, there is a menu for the catalogue; clicking that menu will open the catalogue page.
If both Enable Downloadable Product Catalogue and Enable Flipbook Product Catalogue options are tick then both will be visible on the Catalogue page.
