Warranty & RMA Management
A full after-sales suite for Odoo 18. Warranty cards are created automatically when customer deliveries are validated (per serial or lot for tracked products, per delivery line otherwise), with a configurable warranty period per product and a computed expiry date. When something goes wrong, handle the claim end to end: confirm, receive, resolve, and trigger a customer return, replacement delivery or draft credit note in one click, with the customer kept informed by email.
What this module does
Enable warranty on any product with a period in months, and every validated customer delivery registers the warranty for you. RMA claims check coverage against the card automatically, follow a clear pipeline with full chatter tracking, and resolve into a return, repair, replacement or refund without leaving the claim.
How it works
From delivered product to closed claim, the whole after-sales loop lives in one place.
- Register warranty automatically on delivery. Enable warranty on a product with a period in months; when the customer delivery is validated, warranty cards are created per serial/lot or per line, each with a computed expiry date.
- Customer files a claim. Create an RMA claim against the warranty card or delivered product, pick a reason, and confirm it; coverage is checked against the card's validity at the claim date and the customer is notified by email.
- Process the return, replacement or refund. Generate the customer return receipt (the claim moves to received when it is validated), ship a replacement delivery, or issue a draft credit note priced from the original sale line, all in one click.
- Resolve and notify. Record the resolution (repair notes included), mark the claim resolved and done, and the customer receives a resolution email; smart buttons keep claims, cards and contacts linked throughout.
