Website Free Shipping Progress Bar
Add a friendly progress bar to the shopping cart that fills as the cart total climbs toward a free-shipping threshold you set. While shoppers are below the threshold they see “Add X more to get FREE shipping” in the order’s own currency; once they reach it, a clear success message and a full bar confirm it. One setting, per website. No code and no template editing.
What this module does
Free shipping is one of the strongest reasons shoppers add another item to the cart. This module turns that into a clear, visual nudge right where the decision happens: a progress bar on the cart page that shows how close the shopper is and how little more it takes to earn free shipping.
How it works
From install to a live nudge on your cart in a few clicks. Everything is configured from Website settings.
- Install the module (it depends on website_sale, the Odoo eCommerce app).
- Go to Website → Configuration → Settings and open the Free Shipping Bar section.
- Turn on Free Shipping Bar.
- Set your Threshold amount (in the website’s currency), then Save.
- Open your shop and add items to the cart: the bar appears at the top of the cart and fills as the total grows.
- When the cart total reaches the threshold, the bar fills and shows the free-shipping success message.
