What is Password Manager?
Password Manager is a robust module designed to securely store and manage passwords for multiple users within the Odoo system. With advanced access control features, you can define rules for which users or groups can access specific credentials, ensuring maximum security and flexibility.
Why Choose Password Manager?

- Flexible access control for multiple users.
- Seamless integration with Odoo's native features like Chatter.
- Customizable organization with tags and groups.
- Compatible with both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.
Key Features
Manage Credentials
Create and manage logins, passwords, and descriptions. Add images for easier identification and organization.

Access Groups
Organize users into groups and assign specific credentials to these groups for streamlined access control.

Tags
Use customizable, color-coded tags to classify credentials and improve searchability.

ntegration with Chatter
Engage in discussions directly within the module and track changes through activity logs.

How It Works?
Step 1: Install the Module
Locate "Password Manager" in the Odoo Apps Store and install it. Make sure you have administrator rights to perform this action.

Step 2: Configure User Access
After installation, navigate to Settings → Users. Assign the appropriate role to each user: "Password Manager Admin" or "Password Manager User". This step ensures that only authorized individuals can access or manage credentials.

Step 3: Create a Credential
Navigate to the Credentials section and click "New." Fill in fields such as Name, URL, Login, and Password. Optionally, assign tags, upload an image, and add a detailed description.

Step 4: Define Access Groups
Go to the Access Groups section and create groups to manage shared access rights. Assign users to each group and link credentials accordingly.

Step 5: Use Tags for Organization
Create and assign tags to credentials for improved categorization. Tags can be customized with colors to make them visually distinctive.

Step 6: Manage Access Rights
Assign credentials to individual users or groups directly from the credential form. This ensures that sensitive information is only accessible to authorized users.
