MRP Multi-Product Manufacturing
Produce multiple different products in one Manufacturing Order. Add co-products, merge orders with different BOMs, and streamline your production workflow.
Why This Module?
Standard Odoo Manufacturing Orders can only produce one final product. This creates inefficiency when your production naturally yields co-products, by-products, or when you want to combine multiple orders that share the same production run.
This module breaks that limitation by allowing you to add multiple finished product lines to any Manufacturing Order. Each additional product can have its own Bill of Materials (BOM), and all components are automatically combined into the MO's raw materials.
1. Merge MOs with Different Products
Select multiple Manufacturing Orders that produce different products and use the standard Odoo merge action. The system automatically combines them into one MO with additional product lines.
2. Additional Products Tab
The "Additional Products" tab appears in every Manufacturing Order, allowing you to add multiple finished product lines with their own quantities and BOMs.
3. Add Product Line with BOM Selection
Each additional product line includes product, quantity, unit of measure, and BOM selection. Choose from existing BOMs for each product.
4. Components Automatically Added
When you select a BOM for an additional product, all required components are automatically added to the Manufacturing Order's component list with correct quantities.
5. Lot/Serial Number Management
Manage lot and serial numbers for each additional product line with dedicated "Generate" buttons and tracking fields. Supports both lot and serial tracking.
6. Merged MO with All Products
After merging, all products become additional product lines in the new Manufacturing Order. Components from all BOMs are consolidated with correct total quantities.
7. Production Report with All Products
Manufacturing reports show all finished products, making it easy for shop floor teams to see everything being produced in the order.
