MSGOWL SMS Integration for Odoo 18
Send SMS through MSGOWL API
This module seamlessly integrates MSGOWL SMS service with Odoo 18, enabling you to send SMS messages through MSGOWL's reliable API for all Odoo SMS features.

⚙️ Configuration
Step 1: Install the Module
Search for "MSGOWL SMS Integration" in Apps and click Install.
Step 2: Configure MSGOWL
- Go to Settings
- Find MSGOWL SMS section in the left sidebar
- Enable "Use MSGOWL for SMS"
- Enter your MSGOWL API Key from your MSGOWL dashboard
- Enter your approved Sender ID (must be approved in MSGOWL first)
- Click "Test Configuration" to verify
- Click Save
Step 3: Start Sending!
All SMS sent from Odoo will now automatically use MSGOWL.
📱 Usage Examples
From Contacts
Open any contact → Click "Send SMS" → Type message → Send
Invoice Notifications
Create invoice → Send & Print → Choose SMS → Customer receives SMS with link
SMS Marketing
SMS Marketing app → Create campaign → Select recipients → Send bulk SMS
📋 Requirements
- Odoo Version: 18.0 or higher
- MSGOWL Account: Active account with API access
- API Key: Generated from MSGOWL dashboard
- Sender ID: Must be approved by MSGOWL before use
- Dependencies: base, sms (included in Odoo)
🔍 Troubleshooting
SMS not sending?
- Verify your API key is correct in Settings
- Ensure your Sender ID is approved in MSGOWL dashboard
- Check phone number format (include country code, e.g., +960XXXXXXXX)
- Check Odoo logs: Settings → Technical → Logging
- Look for "MSGOWL" entries in logs for detailed status
