1. Module Installation
The Customer Portal Dashboard module is available from the Odoo Apps screen. After installation, it seamlessly enhances the standard Odoo Customer Portal by enabling a modern dashboard, professional sidebar navigation, customer profile management, quotations, sales orders, invoices, delivery tracking, account security, and responsive portal pages. Customers can securely access and manage their business information through an intuitive self-service portal without changing the default Odoo portal routes.
2. Website My Account Overview Page
The Customer Portal Dashboard provides customers with a centralized self-service workspace to manage their business interactions. Customers can view quotations, track sales orders, download invoices, monitor delivery status, update profile and address information, manage account security, and access recent activities through a modern, responsive dashboard. The portal integrates seamlessly with the standard Odoo Customer Portal, offering secure access, real-time business insights, and an enhanced customer experience without changing the default portal workflow.
3. Configuration Setup
Administrators can control document downloads using the Allow Portal View & Download option. When enabled, Customer can view and download their portal documents (such as receipts and other supported documents). When disabled, users can still view the available records in the portal but will not be able to download or print the corresponding documents.
4. Portal Sales Quotation View
Customers can conveniently access all their sales quotations from a single portal page. The quotation list displays quotation numbers, dates, total amounts, and current statuses, along with quick actions to view detailed quotation information. The integrated search option allows customers to quickly find specific quotations, making it easy to review proposals, monitor quotation progress, and stay updated throughout the sales process.
5. Portal Sales Order View
Customers can easily view and track their sales orders from a centralized portal. The page displays order numbers, order dates, amounts, progress, current status, and provides quick access to detailed order tracking for complete order visibility.
6. Portal Delivery Tracking View
The Delivery Tracking page enables customers to monitor their shipments in real time. Customers can view delivery numbers, related sales orders, scheduled delivery dates, shipped items, delivery progress, and current shipment status, with quick access to detailed tracking information for complete delivery visibility.
7. Portal Customer Invoice View
The Invoices page provides customers with a complete overview of their billing information. Customers can view invoice numbers, due dates, payment status, outstanding balances, yearly payments, and overdue amounts, while quickly searching, filtering, downloading, or paying invoices directly from the customer portal.
8. Portal Customer Profile
The Profile & Addresses page allows customers to manage their personal and business information from a single location. Customers can update their profile picture, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, and account information while maintaining accurate records for future orders, deliveries, and invoicing through the secure customer portal.
9. Portal Security View
The Security page allows customers to manage their account credentials by changing passwords, enabling two-factor authentication (2FA), and logging out from all active sessions, ensuring secure and protected access to the Customer Portal.
