Our Odoo addon for asset management introduces a powerful feature for businesses aiming to optimize their asset lifecycle - a comprehensive asset tracking and movement management system. This module enables organizations to efficiently assign, move, and monitor assets at both individual and departmental levels, ensuring full traceability and security.
Key Features
- Reference (Code) field in Asset is set to mandatory to ensure consistent barcode label generation.
- Asset tracking users can create and confirm movement transactions for running assets only.
- Dedicated asset management screen with real-time location tracking.
- Print asset barcode labels for quick and easy identification.
- Monitor asset movements between locations (individual/department) with predefined states: Draft, Confirmed, and Cancelled.
- Asset movements can only be canceled by an asset tracking manager, with a confirmation prompt for security.
- Generate and print movement history reports directly from the asset screen.
- Integrated smart button in the employee form for quick access to assigned assets.
- Dynamic asset count displayed in the employee form, showing the total number of assigned assets.
