Neurona Advanced Sales
Advanced Sales gives teams a controlled way to sell volume first and fulfil later through partial deliveries, even when the final withdrawals are consumed through different authorized product references. It keeps the promise, the stock discipline, and the delivery traceability inside standard Odoo Sales and Inventory.
- What standard Odoo does not govern here
- One sale, many controlled withdrawals
- Deliver multiple authorized references under one order
- Track sold, delivered and pending quantities
- Create partial deliveries with stock and location checks
- Validate returns against what was actually delivered
- Expose daily operations broadly and costs narrowly
- See what is inside and outside the public product
- Review compatibility and rollout notes
This module is built for operations that want to sell more volume without forcing customers to store everything immediately. It replaces side agreements, manual substitutions and spreadsheet tracking with a governed Odoo workflow.
Standard Odoo can split deliveries, but it does not govern this sales pattern
Native partial deliveries solve quantity split. They do not solve one commercial sale that is later consumed through different authorized references while preserving stock eligibility, order linkage and fulfilment discipline.
One sale, many controlled withdrawals
The module keeps one controlled commercial commitment on the order, then lets operations fulfil it progressively as the customer withdraws stock over time.
- Mark the commercial product as a prepaid-volume item.
- Keep the order limited to one main controlled line.
- Populate authorized delivery products from the configured template.
- Create linked withdrawals only for authorized products.
- Serve quantities progressively as demand appears.
- Keep every picking linked back to the same commercial order.
Deliver multiple authorized references under one order
This is the real differentiator. The sale is not limited to delivering the exact same SKU later. The module allows fulfilment through different authorized references under the same commercial bag.
| What the sale captures | What operations can later deliver | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| One prepaid commercial product | Different sizes, models, variants or equivalent references | Sell volume first without forcing the customer to define every exact reference upfront. |
| Configured authorization set | Only products allowed by template or order restriction | Protect stock discipline and avoid undocumented substitutions. |
| One delivery commitment | Many staged withdrawals over time | Keep the commercial promise and operational traceability aligned. |
Track sold, delivered and pending quantities with linked stock evidence
Advanced Sales keeps order-level and line-level metrics synchronized with the real stock moves and pickings that consume the commitment.
- Total sold, delivered and pending quantities.
- Delivery progress and prepaid delivery status.
- Linked pickings and delivered-product summaries.
- Move-line traceability for delivered references.
- Fallback tracking through picking origin when direct sale lines are missing.
- Summary views built for high-volume fulfilment queries.
Create partial deliveries with warehouse, location and stock checks
The delivery wizard gives operations a guided flow instead of free-form picking creation, which is critical when one sale can later consume several references.
Validate returns against what was actually delivered
Return handling uses real done quantities and unit-of-measure conversion so operations cannot return more than the customer actually withdrew.
Expose daily operations broadly and costs narrowly
The module separates operational use from administrative control so warehouse and sales teams can fulfil withdrawals without exposing margin-sensitive information unnecessarily.
- Create and track prepaid deliveries.
- See the fulfilment state of the order.
- Work on the operational flow without margin visibility.
- Edit delivery restrictions and higher-control parameters.
- See actual cost, invoiced amount and margin metrics.
- Govern the fulfilment model with full visibility.
What is inside and outside the public product
The public module is intentionally focused. It solves this fulfilment pattern cleanly and leaves customer-specific delivery processes outside the core product.
- prepaid-volume product setup and allowed references
- partial delivery wizard with stock and location controls
- multi-reference fulfilment under one sale order
- tracking, summaries, returns and permissions
- subscription or contract fulfilment engines
- customer-specific stock exceptions inside the public addon
- generic warehouse orchestration outside standard Odoo flows
Compatibility and rollout notes
The module is built for Odoo 18 and assumes standard Sales plus Inventory flows are the operational base.
