How It Works
- Navigate to Manufacturing >> Configuration >> Settings to select the costing method.
- Select the type of cost calculation for the Manufacturing Order.
- Configure costing in Products >> Bill of Materials.
- In Bill of Materials, configure Material Cost in the Material Costing page.
- Configure Labor Cost in the Labor Costing page.
- Configure Overhead Cost in the Overhead Costing page.
- View cost details in the Total Costing page.
- Navigate to Manufacturing >> Operations >> Manufacturing Order to create a new Manufacturing Order.
- By selecting the Bill of Material, view Material, Labor, and Overhead costs as configured in the BOM.
- View Actual and Estimated Total Costing in the Total Costing page after creating the Manufacturing Order.
- For Work Center Based calculations, configure settings in Manufacturing >> Configuration >> Settings.
- Set up costs for Work Centers in Manufacturing >> Configuration >> Work Centers.
- In Manufacturing Order, after selecting the Bill of Material, costs are fetched from Work Centers.
- View Estimated Total Cost in the Total Costing page.
- After completing Work Centers, calculate actual hours for Labor and Overhead costing.
- View Estimated and Actual Total Cost in the Total Costing page.
- In Manufacturing >> Configuration >> Settings, enable Accounting and configure accounts.
- View automatically generated journal entries in Invoicing >> Accounting >> Journal Entries.
- Download the PDF report for costing details from Action >> Print >> MO Costing Report.
- View the generated PDF report.
