Configuration
Accounting Setup
- Ensure employee work contact has a configured Receivable Account.
- Use a Bank/Cash Journal for payments.
- Configure Payment Method Line (account.payment.method.line) on the journal with appropriate Payment Account.
HR Policy
- Define advance eligibility in salary structure (e.g., advance_date rule).
- Set approval groups for Manager and Accounting roles.
- Optional: limit advance to wage or configured percentage.
How to Use
- Navigate to HR â Employees â Salary Advance.
- Create a new request, select Employee, Date and Advance Amount.
- Submit to Manager for approval.
- HR approves and forwards to Accounting.
- Accounting selects Journal and Payment Method Line, confirms and posts the entry.
