In many businesses, products are sold and managed in different units of measure (UoM) depending on the transaction type. However, standard Odoo configurations often limit users to a single UoM per product, causing inefficiencies in sales, inventory, and reporting.

Without the ability to select or define multiple UoMs per product, businesses face the following challenges:
• Lack of flexibility in selling products in different UoMs (e.g., pieces, boxes, cartons).
• Manual conversions leading to errors in pricing, inventory tracking, and order management.
• Inconsistent data management, making it difficult to maintain accurate records across sales and stock operations.

To address this issue, the Multiple UoM on Product feature allows users to:
    • Assign multiple UoMs to a single product.
    • Select the required UoM at the time of sale.
    • Create new UoMs directly from the product form if needed.
