Payment Link API for n8n
Generate signed payment and portal links for invoices and sales orders via a single REST endpoint — ready to embed in any n8n workflow.
What it solves
Collecting invoice payments through n8n or any external automation means you either copy the Odoo portal link by hand or write custom code against the internal RPC. Both break at scale. This module replaces that manual step with a single API call: send the invoice or order ID, get back a signed payment URL — ready to push via WhatsApp, SMS or email in the next automation step.
What it does
A unified REST endpoint that returns a ready-to-send payment or portal URL for any Customer Invoice or Sales Order. Drop it into an n8n HTTP Request node and send the link over WhatsApp, SMS, email or any other channel — without touching the Odoo UI.
One endpoint, two models
Works for account.move (invoices) and sale.order (quotations) with the same request format.
Odoo API key auth
Uses Odoo's built-in scoped API key framework — no custom tokens or shared secrets.
Instant integration
Paste the URL into an n8n HTTP Request node, add the API key header, and you're live.
Signed portal links
The returned URL is a signed Odoo portal link — customers can pay or view without logging in.

How to set up
Install this module.
Create an Odoo API key: Settings › Technical › API Keys › New.
In n8n, add an HTTP Request node with method
POST, URL/api/payment-link, and headerAuthorization: Bearer <your-api-key>.Pass
