FAQs

Does this require Odoo Enterprise?

No. Advance Dashboard works on odoo 18 Community with base and web modules only. Optional app modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, etc.) unlock richer demo dashboards.

Which Odoo apps are supported for demo data?

70 demos total across 20 Odoo addon categories. If an app is not installed, its dashboards still load with Contacts-based fallback widgets. Each demo has 15+ widgets.

Can I use custom SQL queries?

Yes. Dashboard managers can write SQL with {#DATE_FROM}, {#DATE_TO}, {#MYCOMPANY}, and {#UID} placeholders for cross-model analytics.

How do I restrict who sees a dashboard?

Set Allowed Groups and/or Allowed Users on the dashboard form. Leave both empty to allow all internal users. Dashboard Managers see all dashboards regardless.

Is demo data included?

Yes. Click Import Demo Data in Settings → Advance Dashboard to load 70 sample dashboards. Safe to run multiple times — existing demos are updated, not duplicated.
