Project Progress Billing with Customer Invoices in Odoo
This module allows accounting users to create progress billing, print it in PDF format as shown in the screenshots below, and send it to customers for project-related billing purposes.
Main Features:
- This feature allows users to set the total progress billing amount on the analytic account form view, where they can specify the total amount to be invoiced to the customer through progress billing for the project or analytic account.
- Allows setting a progress billing title on the customer invoice form, enabling users to select a project. Based on the selection, the system automatically computes various progress billing amounts on the customer invoice form, as demonstrated in the screenshots.
- Allow users to print progress billing PDF report.

Key Notes:
- Set Total Progress Billing Amount: Users can set the total progress billing amount in the analytic account form view.This amount represents the total to be invoiced to the customer for the project/analytic account.
- Progress Billing Title on Invoice: The system automatically adds a progress billing title to the customer invoice form.Users can select the relevant project for which progress billing is applied.
- Automatic Calculation of Progress Billing Amounts: The system auto-computes various progress billing amounts based on the selected project.These amounts are automatically displayed on the customer invoice form.
- Print Progress Billing PDF Reports: Users can print progress billing PDF reports.These reports can be sent to customers via email for billing purposes.

Progress Billing Defination:
Progress billings are customer invoices requesting payment for work or jobs completed to date for a given project or analytic account.
The progress billing invoice can show the original contract (analytic account) total amount, the amount the customer has paid to date, as well as the percentage of work that has been completed.
Progress billings are common in various industries and businesses, including job contracting and construction projects. Many roofers, plumbers, contractors, painters, electricians, and others use customer progress billings as part of their business operations.
