Import Employee Images from External Links in Odoo

This module enables the automatic uploading of employee images using image URLs specified in the employee form in Odoo.


Key Features:
  • Automatic Image Upload on Save : Allows setting an image URL on the employee form, automatically uploading the image when the Save button is clicked during creation or editing.
  • Employee Image Upload via URL : Supports uploading employee profile pictures directly from an external image URL.
  • Supports Create and Update Operations : Works for both creating (create) and updating (write) employee records. If the image URL is modified, the profile picture is automatically updated upon saving.
  • Google Drive URL Limitation : Image URLs from Google Drive may not work, but other externally hosted image URLs are supported.
