Project Task Deadline Auto Set and Update

Odoo Task Deadline Management : Auto Update and Set

This app enables the automatic assignment of task deadlines based on the projects configured deadline settings. Task deadlines are set dynamically according to the projects deadline configuration, ensuring consistency and efficient task management.

Key Features:

  • Automatic Task Deadline Updates : Configure deadline auto updates in project settings. The system will automatically update task deadlines based on the defined configuration.
  • Manual Deadline Updates with Reason Logging : Project managers and users can manually update task deadlines while providing a reason for the change.
  • Access Control for Deadline Updates : Restrict deadline modifications based on user roles. If only the Project Manager is allowed to update deadlines, the system will prevent project users from making changes and display a warning.
  • Deadline Category for Task Automation : Assign a deadline category to tasks, allowing the system to automatically set deadline dates in the task form.
