This module extends the functionality of your employee training management by integrating it with Odoos powerful Event and Calendar systems. It transforms the way your company organizes, manages, and tracks training sessions bringing together training applications, events, attendee registration, and calendar meetings into a unified workflow.

Instead of managing trainings and events separately, this module creates a seamless link between them. When your HR team plans a training, they can instantly assign it to an event. Employees are automatically registered for events, reducing manual steps and ensuring that all relevant information is logged correctly in the system.

The integration also supports meeting scheduling allowing you to create calendar invites for the training itself or for each participant. Whether you are planning a company wide training day or personalized training sessions for different departments, this module adapts to your business needs.

Main Features:

• Flexible Event Assignment:
  • Link an event at the training application level (one event for all employees).
  • Or assign different events per training line (each course/session can have a different event).
  • Use a simple dropdown to choose whether the event assignment should be manual or automatic.
• Automatic Attendee Registration:
  • As soon as a training application is created or confirmed, employee participants are automatically registered as event attendees.
  • Ensures no employee is missed during event planning.
  • Prevents duplication by checking if an employee is already registered.
• Calendar Event Creation:
  • Automatically or manually create calendar meetings for training events or attendees.
  • Add training descriptions, times, and partners to meetings.
  • View and manage all meetings from the calendar.
• Sync Between Training and Events:
  • Any change in the training event is reflected in linked lines or meetings.
  • Events created from training applications are stored and can be reused or updated as needed.
  • Maintains clear relationships across all records :training → event → meeting.
• Smart Dashboard Buttons:
  • Your training application form includes new info buttons showing:
  • Event Count : Number of events linked to training (application or lines).
  • Meeting Count : Number of calendar meetings related to the training.
  • Attendee Count : Total number of registered attendees (employees).
  • Clicking these buttons opens the related list views directly.
• Behavior Settings Based on Policy:
  • Set Event at Application Level: Same event applies to all lines automatically.
  • Set Event per Training Line: You choose event individually for each line.
  • This gives control to HR users while supporting both centralized and distributed training scenarios.
• Support for Bulk Training Applications:
  • When using bulk training creation (e.g., from templates), the module supports event auto assignment.
  • Meetings created for training sessions derived from bulk applications are also tracked and displayed.
• Automatic Line Population:
  • If an application is already linked to an event and Apply to All is selected, the event will auto fill on newly created training lines.
  • This saves time and prevents user errors during data entry.
• Quick Access to Event/Meeting Views:
  • You can jump to the Event, Meeting, or Attendee views directly from the training application using smart actions.
  • Views are filtered to show only relevant records.
• Portal Features:
  • Employee Portal Access: Employees or trainees can log in via the Odoo portal to view their assigned training sessions and related events.
  • Event Registration Visibility: Portal users can see their own event registration details linked to training applications.
  • View Calendar Meetings: If meetings are scheduled for their trainings, portal users can view details like meeting date, time, and topic from the portal.
  • Linked Training Information: Each event or meeting shown in the portal includes reference to the training application or line it was created from.
