Language Industry Business Management for Odoo
This Odoo module provides a comprehensive solution for managing your language translation service business. It is designed for companies offering professional translation and interpretation services, enabling them to efficiently handle client requests, manage translators, and streamline overall operations.
Main Features : Translation Services in Odoo:
- Translation Product Creation
Sales Administrators or Sales Team members can create translation service products from the Products menu in the Odoo backend. - Translation Product Configuration
A checkbox labeled "Is Translation Product" is available on the product form to mark it as a translation service.
The Product Type must be set to "Service" for translation related offerings. - Industry Terms and Content Types Setup
Industry-specific terminology and content types can be configured by the Sales Administrator or Team under the Translation Configuration menu. - Translation Request from Website
Customers or website visitors can submit Translation Requests directly from the website interface. - Request Form Details
The website form allows users to:- Upload/attach files
- Enter contact details such as email and phone number
- Provide additional information
(As shown in the screenshots)
- Automatic Quotation Generation
Upon receiving a website request, the system automatically generates a Sales Quotation with an initial price of zero.
Sales users can later edit and update the quotation with the appropriate pricing before sending it to the customer. - Backend Management of Translation Requests and Tasks
Sales Administrators can manage all Translation Requests and corresponding Translation Tasks from the Translation Translation Services menu. - Manual Pricing by Sales Team
Sales Users can manually enter the price of the translation service in the Quotation Lines and send the updated quotation to the customer. - Task Creation on Quotation Confirmation
Once a quotation is confirmed, a Project Task is automatically created for the internal team to perform the translation work.
(This functionality is based on Odoos standard behavior for service type products.) - Task Access from Sale Order
A "Tasks" Smart Button is available on the Sale Order Form, allowing quick access to related translation tasks. - Invoice Generation from Sale Order
Sales Teams can generate Invoices directly from the Sale Order Form. (Odoo Standard Feature) - For more details, please watch the video in the live preview and refer to the screenshots below.
Highlighted Steps:
Customer/Visitor creates a Translation Request from the Website : This request will automatically create a Quotation in the backend of Odoo : Upon confirmation of the Quotation, a Task will be created for your team to perform the translation work : Once completed, the translated content is submitted to the client : Followed by accounting and billing processes using standard Odoo features.
