POS Multi UOM
POS Multi UOM extends Odoo Point of Sale by allowing a single product to be sold in different Units of Measure with separate pricing. Many businesses sell products in various units such as pieces, boxes, packs, kilograms, liters, or cartons. Standard POS functionality does not always provide the flexibility required to handle these scenarios efficiently. This module allows users to configure multiple UOMs and corresponding sales prices for individual products. During POS transactions, users can select the desired UOM and sell products according to customer requirements. The system correctly handles situations where the same product is added multiple times using different UOMs by creating separate order lines and maintaining accurate pricing calculations. The selected UOM is reflected throughout the sales process, including POS orders, backend records, and printed receipts, ensuring complete transparency and operational accuracy.
Key Features
Multiple Unit of Measure Configuration
The module allows users to define multiple Units of Measure for a single product along with dedicated sales prices for each UOM. This provides greater flexibility when managing products sold in different packaging or measurement units.
Dynamic UOM Selection in POS
Users can select the appropriate Unit of Measure directly from the POS interface while adding products to an order. This allows businesses to handle customer requirements efficiently without leaving the POS screen.
Individual Pricing per UOM
Each configured Unit of Measure can have its own sales price, ensuring accurate pricing based on the selected quantity unit and business pricing strategy.
Same Product with Multiple UOM Support
The system supports adding the same product multiple times using different Units of Measure within a single transaction. Each product-UOM combination is maintained as a separate order line to ensure correct calculations and reporting.
Receipt and Order Transparency
Selected Units of Measure are displayed clearly on POS receipts, order lines, and backend POS orders, helping users and customers understand exactly how products were sold.
Seamless POS Integration
The application integrates directly with Odoo Point of Sale and works within existing POS workflows without affecting standard sales operations.
