User Guide for Odoo AI Time Integration Module

This guide explains the configuration, usage, and management of AI Time Integration within your Odoo Attendance module.

1. Module Overview

The Odoo AI Time Integration module allows you to connect the AI Time application with Odoo’s Attendance module. Once authenticated, you can fetch and synchronize employee attendance data directly from AI Time into Odoo. Attendance data can be fetched for a specific date range or in bulk from the start date of recorded attendance. The process can also be automated using Odoo’s scheduled actions, ensuring attendance is regularly updated without manual intervention.

2. Configuration

To configure the AI Time Integration module:

1. Install the oe_aitime_integration module.
2. Open the module and go to the Configuration menu.
3. Click New and enter the API URL, Username, and Password.
4. Click Authenticate — if successful, an access token will be generated automatically and the connection will be established.
5. Optionally, specify a From Date and To Date to fetch attendance for a specific period. If left empty, the system will fetch all available attendance from the start date.

3. Fetching and Syncing Attendance

1. After authentication, click the Fetch Attendance button to retrieve records from AI Time.
2. Use the Sync Attendance button to map and update the fetched attendance with Odoo users.
3. You can automate this process by configuring a scheduled action that periodically fetches and syncs attendance data without manual input.

4. Viewing Attendance Data

• Attendance List: View all synced attendance records in the Odoo Attendance module.
• Filtering: Use filters to view attendance by date and user.
