Installation & Setup

1. Install the module: Go to Apps -> Search for "oe_bank_import_ofx" -> Click Install
2. Configure permissions: Navigate to Settings -> Users & Companies -> Set user access rights
3. Initial configuration: Access the module settings from the main menu

Basic Usage

1. Creating records: From Accounting -> Bank Statements, click Import and upload the OFX file.
2. Managing data: Review detected statement period, currency, and totals before confirming.

Ensure the ``ofxparse`` Python dependency is installed on your Odoo server. Very large OFX archives should be split by month to stay within the 8 MB guardrail and keep reconciliation responsive.
