FAQs

Does this module change how I do inventory adjustments?
No. You use the same inventory adjustment screen. The only difference is that when you set an Accounting Date, stock moves are also backdated (not just journal entries).
What happens if I don't set an Accounting Date?
Everything works exactly as standard Odoo — no changes at all. The backdating only activates when you explicitly set an Accounting Date.
Is the Backdate Reason field required?
No, it's optional. But we recommend using it for compliance and audit purposes.
Does this work with multi-company?
Yes. The module uses Odoo's standard inventory and accounting mechanisms, which fully support multi-company setups.
Will this affect existing inventory adjustments?
No. The module only affects future inventory adjustments where an Accounting Date is set. Existing data is not modified.
